I’m Allie!

Hi, I’m Allie, the creator behind One Bowl Bakery! My love for baking began as a child, watching my mom create magic in the kitchen with her blueberry buckle, chocolate chip cookies, and Boston cream pie. Years later, when I was pregnant with my daughter Charlotte, my cravings for sweets reignited that passion. I started baking to satisfy those cravings and found myself sharing my recipes on my blog, Seasoned and Salted. Now, baking has become my go-to way to unwind after a busy day.

I’m known for my obsession with brown butter and my love of using olive oil in my bakes. Some of my favorite recipes include brown butter brownies, olive oil cookies, and olive oil banana bread. I love baking cookies especially because nothing beats the convenience of freezing the dough and having fresh, homemade cookies on demand! While I’ve taken a few baking classes, I’m mostly self-taught, constantly learning through cookbooks and experimenting with new techniques.

My Favs

I live in Hingham, MA with my husband, Eric, our daughter, Charlotte, and our two golden retrievers, Duck and Goose. We’re lucky to live by the sea, surrounded by inspiration from our local farmers market and nearby small farms. When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me reading memoirs, re-reading the Harry Potter series (I’m a proud Slytherin!), tasting and exploring new wines (a hobby of mine), planning our next family trip abroad, or watching the latest episode of Real Housewives.

Through One Bowl Bakery, I want to inspire you to feel excited and confident in the kitchen. I truly believe that anyone can make something delicious to share with others, and it doesn’t have to be complicated! My philosophy is simple—no need for fancy equipment or endless dirty dishes. All you need is one bowl, a little creativity, and a lot of love.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to bake together!
